Burning Ones was started with a simple conviction: to equip the Church to live with wholehearted devotion to Jesus, and to preach the Gospel throughout the world.
Burning Ones was founded in 2012 by Michael and Anna Dow. The beginning desire has not changed— to see the nations of the world experience the love and power of Jesus by the power of the Holy Spirit and live wholeheartedly devoted to Him. It is for that reason that we have given our lives to equipping the Church and preaching the Gospel throughout the world.
We want to see Jesus receive the reward of His suffering, His inheritance from among every nation, tribe and tongue; a people that will pledge their allegiance to Him as King and lives as his representatives in the earth— a company of faithful witnesses, His Bride.
We are living for the day of His great return and laboring in the harvest fields. The effort of our lives is aimed at His reward.
Michael and Anna have been married for eighteen years, and have six children. Together, they have been faithful to the local church in Tampa, FL, Charlotte, NC, and now in the Orlando, FL area. In each of these experiences they have been planted, formed, tested, and proven. In 2016 they planted what is now Habitation Church. From that time, they have continued to serve as leaders in the house God is building and have become affirmed as Elders.
Together, they lead Burning Ones. They have preached the Gospel throughout the world, hosted large crusade events and conferences. Michael has written 8 books, including “Fasting: Rediscovering the Ancient Pathways.” Anna is the featured artist and worship leader on Raw Encounter VOL I & VOL II. She also leads worship around the world and ministers the Word of God in a variety of gatherings. Together, they provide teaching, leadership, and the resource of their lives to leaders both near and abroad.
Steven and Chere have been married for twenty one years and have six children. They have served God together for close to two decades—for a decade in a local church work where they are originally from in Lakeland, FL, and now in Habitation Church in Orlando, FL since 2017. Their loyalty, integrity, authenticity, variety of gifts and leadership are a tremendous strength to the team and churches here. In 2024 they were affirmed as Elders in Habitation Church. Steven has served as the International Director of Burning Ones since 2018 in a full time way. His efforts and leadership are integral to our ministry efforts around the world. Steven also preaches throughout the world, leads teams, and provides organization and administration to our large event efforts.
